Absence of Leahy will prove a huge loss to Chríost Rí

COLÁISTE Chríost Rí go into tomorrow’s Irish Examiner Corn Uí Mhuirí quarter-final clash with St Brendans (Carrigadrohid, 2pm) without the influential Roy Leahy.

Leahy is currently serving a suspension for a straight red card offence and will be an enormous loss to the Capwell side.

Brendans, who pick from a full squad, were hugely impressive in defeating a highly rated Coláiste Choilm by five points in the Round Robin series with Luke Quinn, Michael O’Donoghue and Kieran O’Leary most impressive.
