Dolan and Keane back in action for Westmeath

Michael Ellard and Brendan Larkin

Also included in Páidi Ó Sé’s line-up for this local derby are right corner back James Davitt and wing forward Joe Fallon.

All four missed the O’Byrne Cup final defeat by Laois and they replace Dermot McDermott, John McEnteer, Alan Lanbeen and Padraigh Mulvihille.

Mick O’Dwyer has made three changes on the Laois team for the visit of Limerick to Portlaoise on Sunday.

Paul McDonald, who missed the O’Byrne Cup triumph because of injury, returns at centre back. Padraig Clancy teams up once again with Noel Garvan at midfield, while Chris Bergin is recalled at left half forward. Relegated to the substitutes bench are Shane Cooke, Peter O’Leary and Donie Brennan.

Limerick will be missing five of their big guns because of injuries to Stephen Lucey, John Galvin, Jason Stokes, Seamus O’Donnell and team captain Muiris Gavin.

Eoghan Bradley, who played a starring role in the televised game between the Underdogs and Kerry recently, will make his senior debut for Tyrone when they take on Donegal at MacCumhaill Park.

The very promising Bradley has been named at left corner forward on a Tyrone side which sees Rory Mellon returning at left corner forward after a two year lay-off because of illness.

Despite being without a host of players because of injury and Kilmurry/Ibrickane’s All-Ireland Club semi-final, there is only one newcomer on the Clare team to face Roscommon in Dr Hyde Park.

Shane Daniels, a member of the Eire Óg Ennis club, gets his first start as leader of the attack and the team will be captained by midfielder Ger Quinlan.

Donal O’Sullivan, Ronan Slattery and Conor Whelan are all ruled out through injury.

Longford give league debuts to four newcomers for their game with Fermanagh in Pearse Park. Donncha Corcoran, Paul O’Hara, Padraic Davis and Kevin Mulligan are all included on a team which shows seven changes from the side that lost to Dublin in last year’s All-Ireland qualifiers.

Wexford give a league debut to wing back Shane Cullen for their opener against Armagh in Wexford Park. Paddy Curtis was not considered due to a groin injury.

Kildare make a number of changes for the game against Galway in Salthill.

Allenwood’s David Hughes makes his NFL debut at full back with Eamonn Callaghan reverting to corner back. Anthony Rainbow returns from honeymoon and Karl Ennis moves from wing back to wing forward. Skipper John Doyle partners Killian Brennan in the middle of the field, while Ross Glavin’s move out to the forty allows Tadhg Fennin to return at top of the left.

Wexford manager Pat Roe has included one newcomer against Armagh at Wexford Park.

Gusserane’s Shane Cullen has been name at left half-back for the Slaneysiders, who will be captained by full-forward John Hudson.

Paddy Colfer was doubtful due to a hip injury but took part in Wednesday night’s training session and has been named in midfield.

A surprise omission is Redmond Barry who has decided to adopt a ‘dual’ role this season. Barry, is expected to be included among the substitutes.

Meanwhile, former Kerry goalkeeper and Limerick-based garda Declan O’Keeffe has signed for Clare intermediate club Clooney/Quin.
