Lios Póil resist late rally to take junior title

It was all going according to plan for the Kerry side when they forged 1-3 to 0-1 ahead after 20 minutes with Damien Ó Cearbhaill scoring their goal.

However Liam Seosamh MacPaidín was exerting a lot of influence around the middle of the field for the Mayo lads and they were in with a shout after Mac Paidín and Donncha Ó Dubháin kicked over a point apiece which left Lios Póil 1-4 to 0-2 in front at half time.
