FURIOUS hurling fans were up in arms yesterday after a tickets foul-up left them arguing over the same seats at Sunday’s Croke Park All-Ireland quarter-finals.

A fan said he saw five other tickets with the same seat number as his own and was told by stewards that up to 600 tickets may have been duplicated.

A GAA spokesperson said the association was unaware of any difficulties, but that anybody who arrived to find their seat already occupied would have been accommodated.
