Flynn hungrier than ever for elusive All-Ireland medal

FOR over a decade Paul Flynn has been an imperious forward for club and county. A lethal marksman, he ranks amongst the very best Waterford has produced.

In terms of honours won, however, the return has been modest. Very modest compared to some of the men who stand between him and another Munster club title on Sunday.

Now 31 and close to being in the twilight of his career, the Ballygunner clubman is still without an All-Ireland senior medal - club or county.
