Ó Sé urges burglar to return medals

PÀIDI Ò SÈ has pleaded that whoever broke into Derek Heavin’s house and stole his medal collection should return them to the Westmeath defender as quickly as possible.

Ó Sé urges burglar to return medals

Heavin’s house was burgled while he was attending the month’s mind mass of his late nephew last week.

When he returned to the house in Moate, the player discovered that his house had been ransacked and that his medal collection was among the items missing.

Heavin has won Leinster senior, Leinster U21 and All-Ireland U21 medals with the Lake County and all three medals are now missing.

“I hope that whoever took Derek’s medals will see fit to return them to him, or pass them onto myself or Gardaí,” said O Se in his Sunday column.

“They wouldn’t be of any financial value to whoever took them, so they should be given back.”
