Coachford too strong for Killenaule

Coachford took the lead with two points by Joe Murphy before John Coleman and Kevin Bolger levelled for Killenaule. Gradually Coachford began to dominate around the centre, and a goal from John O’Riordan along with points by Patrick Finnegan, Olan Healy and Joe Murphy helped them to an 11 point interval lead, (1-11 to 0-3).

Killenaule stormed back with goals from Kevin Bolger and Michael Doyle but once O’Riordan scored his sides’ second, the game was over Scorers for Coachford College: N O’Regan 0-9, J O’Riordan 2-0, J Murphy 0-3, P Finnegan 0-2, T O’Sullivan 0-1, O Healy 0-1. D Twomey 0-1.
