The garden will feature a series of plaques to past All-Ireland winning Kilkenny teams.

“This garden offers the opportunity to celebrate the rich heritage of success that Kilkenny enjoys in hurling. The great players and teams who helped Kilkenny win the 28 titles since 1904 will all be remembered on a series of limestone plaques. We hope that this garden will become a focus point for visitors to Kilkenny and for GAA followers from around the county and country. Each plaque will have a special memory for the many GAA supporters and we would like to thank Chesterbridge Development for creating this tranquil and publicly accessible space that will be located within the MacDonagh Junction development,” Kilkenny County Board Chairman Ned Quinn said.
