Carey polls apart in hurling legend vote

HE may not have made the Kilkenny team for the Guinness Leinster SHC final, but right now, DJ Carey is top of the selectors’ list for the Guinness Hurling Legends team.

With one week of voting under way, the Young Ireland’s man is the most-voted-for player in the internet poll, while county teammate Henry Shefflin is not far behind in the voting stakes.

Tipperary’s Brendan Cummins is currently leading the votes for the goalkeeper spot, with Wexford’s Damien Fitzhenry a close second.
