GPA young stars awards

The Gaelic Players’ Association has awarded 12 emerging stars of Gaelic games with scholarships from funds generated through the sales of Club Energise.

GPA chief executive Dessie Farrell said: “Thanks to the strong sales of Club Energise thus far, we are delighted to complement our existing scholarship activity with funding support for twelve very worthy recipients:

Christy Toyne, Donegal Football; Kenneth Burke, Galway Hurling; Brian Dowling, Kilkenny Hurling; Owen Lennon, Monaghan Football; Morgan Beirne, Roscommon Football; Paul Casey, Dublin Football; Simon Gerrard, Louth Football; Paul Finlay, Monaghan Football; Keith Higgins, Mayo Football & Hurling; James Glancy, Leitrim Hurling; JP Casey, Westmeath Football; Sean Kelly, Antrim Football.
