Kerry recall for Kirby as Galvin on bench

MIDFIELDER William Kirby has been recalled to the Kerry line-up for Sunday’s All-Ireland quarter-final clash with Mayo at Croke Park.

Eoin Brosnan, who started alongside Darragh Ó Sé in the Munster final victory over Cork switches to wing forward, with All-Star Paul Galvin dropping to the bench. Galvin has been struggling for two weeks with a throat infection and only resumed training last Sunday.

Kirby’s inclusion is the only change from their Munster Championship winning side and re-unites the pairing which dominated Mayo at midfield in last year’s All-Ireland final.
