That follows the Ulster Council's decision not to experiment in the upcoming Dr McKenna Cup on the basis that the counties did not know of any proposed experimentation when they organised the competition two months ago.

Armagh manager Joe Kernan has slammed the lack of consultation over the introduction of the rule changes, mainly the clean lift, sin bin and as well as the use of a plastic tee for kick-outs by goalkeepers.
