Joyce and Meehan back for Galway

GALWAY expect to have star forward Padraic Joyce back in action for Saturday week’s televised Allianz League game against Cork in Pairc Uí Rinn.

Declan Meehan will also be available for selection, but midfielder Joe Bergin will be out of action for up to six weeks after breaking a bone in his hand last week.

Manager John O’Mahony is expecting a very strong challenge from the home side. “Cork are a big, strong, physical team. They will be hard to beat down there, especially after losing to Roscommon on Sunday. That’s going to be a massive game for us.
