O’Connor set to stay on

KERRY coach Jack O’Connor is likely to remain at the helm for one more season in a bid to reclaim the All-Ireland title lost to Tyrone last Sunday.

O’Connor is hoping to inform County Board chiefs next week that the management team is prepared to stay in charge for the 2006 campaign.

His re-appointment will be ratified at a Board meeting on October 11.
