GAA bosses bemoan sin bin decision
Mick O'Dwyer, John Maughan, Paul Caffrey and Liam Hayes had come to Dublin to launch the NFL but sin bins and yellow cards almost stole the limelight from Allianz's sponsorship extension to 2007.
All but Caffrey bemoaned the fact that the sin bin wasn't given more time to bed down into football's fabric. O'Dwyer pointed to Laois' O'Byrne Cup final win over Westmeath where there was no more than 30 frees all afternoon. He was backed up by Maughan who said last year's average of around 60 frees per game was halved in Mayo's games last month.
