Croom get their just reward
The first half was a very tight affair at one stage though. Murroe-Boher looked in control when they led 0-5 to 0-1 with points from Kevin Tobin and Pat McNamara but a Martin Lenihan goal brought Croom very much back into it and they finished on level terms, 1-3 to 0-6, at the break.
Both sides exchanged early second half points but Hugh Flavin found the net in 34 minutes to give the south Limerick side advantage and Murroe knew they had a battle when they trailed 2-5 to 0-7 after 44 minutes.
