FORMER GAA president Peter Quinn has aimed a stinging criticism at the highest levels of the association.

Top section of the GAA extremely weak, says Quinn

Quinn, who was president from 1991 to 1994, described the top section of the organisation as being “extremely weak,” and criticised the structures in place among the top ranks.

“The GAA’s biggest problem is not with strategy but with structure. The clubs are extremely strong, but as you rise up through the association, it gets weaker,” he said during TG4’s Mo Chuntas Féin which will be broadcast on Sunday evening (9.30pm).
