Waterford selectors line up team changes for crucial clash
Dropped are Tom Feeney and Brian Flannery in defence and Michael Walsh from midfield, while there are a number of positional changes in attack.
Declan Prendergast and Alan Kirwan take over from Feeney and Flannery in the full back line; Peter Queally comes in at left half back with James Murray moving out to partner Tony Browne at midfield in place of Michael Walsh.
The suspension of Ken McGrath sees Andy Moloney move out centre forward, with Seamus Prendergast coming in at full forward for his first league appearance of the season. Paul Flynn has been switched out the left half forward with Dave Bennett moving into the corner.
The Clare team shows five changes from the side which failed to Kilkenny last week.
David Hoey replaces Conor Harrison at right corner back, Diarmuid McMahon comes in for the injured Conor Plunkett at right half back while John Reddan takes over from Gerry Quinn at left half back.
Quinn moves out to partner Conor Lynch at midfield in the absence of the injured James O’Connor while in the half forward line Andrew Quinn is in for Tony Griffin, Alan Markham moves to centre half forward in place of Fergal Lynch with Conor Earlie is at left half forward.
Offaly have been forced to make two changes from the team which defeated Cork in their last outing, for tomorrow’s trip To Wexford Park.
Declan Tanner comes in at centre forward for his first league outing in place of Neville Coughlan who will be involved with the county’s under 21 footballers in the Leinster championship against Westmeath in Mullingar.
A vacancy has been left at left corner forward as Brian Carroll is exam tied. The selectors will fill the place before the game.
