Cork and Wexford finally see the light

HISTORY will be made on Saturday, February 28 when Cork and Wexford play their second round NHL game under lights in Pairc Uí Rinn.

The Leesiders requested the change and Wexford agreed. It will be the first ever competitive hurling game under lights and will be televised live by TG4.

Cork have only played one game under lights so far this year, against county champions Newtownshandrum a fortnight ago, while Wexford have played two, against WIT and Dublin.
