Knock back hurling league again

KNOCK International Airport is to continue its sponsorship of the winter hurling league, which will see seven teams competing next month.

Known as the Knockairport.com Hurling League, it was formally launched at the airport last evening. It’s designed to encourage the development of hurling in Connacht.

The success of last year’s league has seen the competition expanded to include teams from Mayo, Roscommon, Sligo/Leitrim, Sligo IT, the Galway Development Squad, NUIG and GMIT.
