Nemo outclass the Barr’s at third attempt to reach Shield semi-finals

ALL-IRELAND Club champions Nemo Rangers may have taken three and a half hours of football and two replays to decide the issue, but the Cork kingpins finally delivered at Bishopstown on Saturday, proving too strong for St Finbarr’s, 1-10 to 0-09, in a lively Kelleher Shield quarter-final.

Some real slick play, a teak tough backline and a speedy forward division proved too much an obstacle for the Barr’s to overcome, with Willie Morgan’s sixth minute goal giving the Capwell men the perfect fillip.
