Shannonsiders looking to bury the ghost of Munster final

ANY thoughts about tomorrow’s NFL semi-final meeting of Limerick and Kerry at the Gaelic Grounds must be set against the backdrop of last year’s Munster final in Killarney and a possible repeat championship clash in July.

By any standard, it represents a significant achievement by Limerick in the county’s first ever season in first division football, yet, nobody can be surprised by their progress under Liam Kearns.

On the Kerry side, Jack O’Connor, too, can take pride in his team’s progress.
