RTÉ to screen over 40 live games

RTÉ will screen over 40 live hurling and football championship matches this season.

There will also be a number of deferred (as live) games, plus more live coverage as the qualifying rounds begin in mid-June.

Michael Lyster will continue to anchor The Sunday Game Live, and will be joined by an unrivalled panel of analysts which this season includes two new additions Cork's All-Ireland winning manager Donal O'Grady, and former All-Ireland Football Championship winning manager with Galway, John O'Mahony.

The full list of football analysts is Colm O'Rourke, Joe Brolly, Tony Davis, Kevin McStay, Martin Carney, Anthony Tohill, Paul Curran, Bernard Flynn, John O'Mahony and Tommy Lyons.

For hurling, the team is Ger Loughnane, Cyril Farrell, Tomás Mulcahy, Michael Duignan, Pete Finnerty, Donal O'Grady and Larry O'Gorman.

Pat Spillane will continue to anchor The Sunday Game highlights.
