Cody: Kilkenny not in a different league

THE last thing you’d expect Brian Cody to say is that it would be no harm for Kilkenny to lose in Nowlan Park tomorrow!

You can be sure he wouldn't express that view in public, nor would you expect any manager in his position to do so. Either way, it's not anticipated that the All-Ireland hurling champions will go under to Tipperary in this highly attractive Allianz National League tie.

For the last few weeks, Kilkenny have been the team everybody is talking about, in terms of their potential and the strength of their panel. It's the last thing Cody wants to hear, but he knows well that it's to be expected in their situation.
