Walsh an injury worry for holders Waterford

HOLDERS Waterford IT are concerned about the fitness of Michael Walsh for this afternoon’s Fitzgibbon Cup semi-final with UCD at Garrycastle, Athlone (2.15).

Walsh damaged ankle ligaments during Waterford’s NHL win over Laois last Sunday and has been receiving treatment all week.

Conor Phelan, who picked up a hand wound in the quarter-final win over UL, is expected to start.
