ROSCOMMON manager Tom Carr has slammed the standard of refereeing in Gaelic football and reckons that referees will force him to quit.

Carr was critical of the performance of Down official Colm Broderick at the weekend, as his side saw their promotion hopes from Division 2A all but wiped away with a defeat at the hands of Offaly.

"The standard of refereeing will drive me out of the game eventually," said a frustrated Carr, in the aftermath of his team's seven point reverse.
