North County Dublin clubs Naomh Mearnóg and St Sylvester’s today play host to 85 teams from throughout the country and London for the 19th Ladies Football All-Ireland Club 7-A-Side.

The popularity of this competition has grown rapidly since the inaugural competition in 1985.

Champions Corofin (Galway) defend their crown in a tricky group including Ballyboden St Enda’s (Dublin) and St Ultan’s (Meath).

Tipperary sides Moyle Rovers and Ardfinnan field strong sides in the junior category, with stiff competition from Laune Rangers (Kerry), Maynooth (Kildare) and Clonderry (Offaly).
