While Cork GAA fans have developed a reputation for good humour, tolerance, an easy acceptance of adversity, that good humour and tolerance has been tested to the limit recently - and it has nothing to do with the controversial stance taken by their county board in relation to the now defunct Rule 42 debate.

It’s about the new seating in the old uncovered stand, which looks good, with its bright colours, and feels good - but only for those who can fit.
