Endorsements head GPA agenda

ENDORSEMENT rights and merger talks will dominate tomorrow’s annual general meeting of the GPA.

Donal O’Neill, who helped found the GPA, is expected to argue for maximising endorsement opportunities should the green light be given.

If the GAA are amenable to the idea it would see hurling and football’s highest profile exponents being able to negotiate their own promotional dealings without having to share their earnings with the GAA.
