A SENIOR Tipperary County Board official has made a stinging attack on GAA chiefs for the suspension of hurler Eamonn Corcoran earlier this year.

Describing the ban on Corcoran for an incident in an NHL tie against Galway as “the most frustrating experience I have had in my long association with the GAA,” County Board Secretary Michael O’Brien will tell this weekend’s convention that “major questions on the whole episode still remain unanswered.”

Mr O’Brien criticised the highest levels of the association.
