Flannan's pushed all the way by Glanmire
Forced to play second fiddle for long periods, Flannan's came with a late burst to win against a side that wasted a lot of chances, particularly in the first half when aided by the wind.
Flannan's were forced to soak up a lot of pressure in the opening half, despite scoring first with a Seamus Hickey point. They did not score again for the next 15 minutes during which Glanmire took control. The dominance of Paul Horan at centre-back and Fergal O'Reilly at midfield meant a plentiful supply of ball to their forwards and their fine play was rewarded by an opportunist 10th minute goal.
