‘Superior’ Kilkenny bent on reclaiming their crowns

NOW it’s official. Kilkenny are better placed to win the Leinster SHC than they were 12 months ago.

Manager Brian Cody's comment that his team's form is "certainly superior," confirms the widely-held view that they are intent on recapturing both their provincial and national crowns.

The general perception may be that Kilkenny will be all-out to avenge last year's surprise defeat in the Leinster semi-final, but Cody's response is that they can't change history. And they have never denied that Wexford were worthy winners.
