Why the omissions from the Allstar selection?

I SHOULDN’T have too many quibbles with the Allstar selection but I do.

Why the omissions from the Allstar selection?

In my own selection I chose 13 of the 15 officially selected, and 12 of the 15 positions, but I strongly disagree with the omission of two men.

The most disappointed hurler in the country has to be Benny Dunne. Playing with a shaky defence and a stuttering forward line, Dunne was probably the most influential player Tipperary had all year. He was an outstanding linkman and was doing very well at midfield against Kilkenny in the All-Ireland semi-final before being inexplicably switched to wing-forward.
