Waterford senior football: Hennessy hits form as Ardmore cruise home

Tramore wing back Gary Dunphy opened the scoring after 10 seconds but thereafter it was all Ardmore as they hit 1-10 in a devastating first half display. Defender Richie Hennessy scored their goal as they raced 10 points clear by the break.

Points by Martin Whelan and Lee Quilty gave Tramore a brief glimmer of hope on the re-start but Ardmore upped the pace and were denied three goals by the woodwork. They now face Rathgormack at the same venue on Saturday.
