Broken jaw will keep Kerry’s Doona sidelined

PROMISING Kerry panellist Dan Doona will be out of action for the foreseeable future following a serious facial injury sustained while on holiday with his county colleagues.

Doona suffered a broken jaw in two places following an accidental clash with Declan O’Sullivan during a training session in Lanzarote last week which will keep him out of action for at least three months.

The squad returned home on Saturday and Doona was brought to Cork University Hospital where he underwent surgery.
