Galway side aim for upset

IF there is one last surprise in Caltra’s season, the Meehan name will have a lot to do with it. And it is most likely that it will be the youngest Meehan brother, the latest teenage attacking prodigy they seem to produce at will in Galway.

The past year has seen Micheal Meehan rise from a promising footballer, chatted about in the pubs of East Galway, to genuine superstar.

His older brothers have contributed, but all eyes in Croker will be on Micheal. If Gaeltacht are to be beaten, the full-forward is going to have a big say, not that he is too worried about all the hype.
