Mullally and Shefflin hospitalised

KILKENNY'S Paddy Mullally and Henry Shefflin were released from Ennis General Hospital last night, having been treated for injuries sustained in their NHL clash with Clare.

Shefflin was stretchered off in the 66th minute with a suspected neck injury after falling awkwardly.

Mullally suffered a facial cut in an off-the-ball incident in the first half.
