Bigger and better ‘Up The Rebels’ returns to the stage

“UP The Rebels — The Replay” returned to the Everyman Palace Theatre last night.

The play has been updated by author Declan Hassett to cover the Cork hurlers' triumph in the All-Ireland final last September, and the show, which set box office records in 2000, returns with a top cast including Cha and Miah.

The play was originally commissioned and presented by the Cork County Board and it celebrates the contribution made by the GAA to cultural life in Ireland, with particular reference to its role in the Rebel County.
