Ahane serve notice with big win over Kilmallock

ALL-ACTION Ahane signalled that they are ready to re-claim the Limerick SHC title from Adare with an electrifying performance in dispensing with the challenge of one of the championship favourites Kilmallock 5-12 to 1-6 at Caherconlish last evening.

It looked as if Kilmallock were ready to collect the two league points on

offer when scoring wonder Andrew O’Shaughnessey hit the net and followed up with a point inside the opening five minutes but then Ahane, inspired by John Meskell and Ollie Moran settled and a goal from a long range free by Meskell on nine minutes had them on their way.
