Hayes: we have learned what it takes to win

CONOR HAYES talked about it last week and he talked about it again yesterday.

He was well aware from his own playing days of the ‘confidence’ that Cork players brought to their hurling. And, he agreed, that was the determining factor yesterday.

Nevertheless, he pointed out that it wasn’t the only reason for their defeat. In essence, his players were handicapped by their inexperience and a lack of awareness what was required to succeed at the highest level.
