Appeal to attend GOAL challenge

THE annual GOAL challenge match will be played under lights in Páirc Uí Rinn tomorrow.

Throw-in is at 7.30pm.

Cork will play defending county champions Newtownshandrum, and both teams are expected to be at full strength.

With the Liam McCarthy Cup expected to be paraded, a huge crowd is expected. GOAL’S latest emergency programme has been to respond to the needs of people in Darfur, Sudan, where they provide food, shelter and healthcare for over 200,000 people. The County Board appeals to supporters to turn out in large numbers.
