Games chief wants tougher penalties for foul play
Mr Daly believes the tolerance of foul play within the Association is too high; that an ambivalence as to what constitutes foul play exists and that the imposition of sanctions give rise to anomalies and inconsistencies which are contrary to the principles of natural justice, equity and fair play.
Echoing comments made by GAA president Sean Kelly this week, Mr Daly is also adamant that the attitudes towards match officials must change as a matter of urgency.
