Roscrea edge out Brogan's

Roscrea CS 3-8 St. Brogan’s, Bandon 2-10

The Bandon boys looked dead and buried after Roscrea had taken a seven point lead early in the second-half through a fine individual goal from Kevin King, but inspired by Daniel O’Callaghan, the West Cork school rallied superbly only to be denied by a tremendous rearguard action by the Roscra defence.

The North Tipperary school did all the damage in the opening 37 minutes. David O’Hara goaled after five minutes and when Tommy Devereaux added another a minute later Brogan’s had a real battle on their hands.
