Hurling deserves biggest stage

There is nothing in sport for players that compares with the international experience, and the GAA players deserve to enjoy an international extension to their sport. The pity of it is that a similar dimension cannot be added to hurling.

Ireland showed a big improvement over the two games, and in the process showed the way to beat Australia, despite the benefits that the host’s professional training and development bestow upon them.
