Donnellan and Meehan get nod

ALLSTAR Michael Donnellan and teenage sensation Michael Meehan have been recalled to the Galway team for next Monday’s Bank of Ireland, All-Ireland SFC quarter-final showdown with Donegal at Croke Park.

Donnellan takes over the left-half-forward position from Ja Fallon, while Meehan replaces Nicky Joyce at left-corner-forward.

Donnellanhas been struggling to overcome the effects of a knee injury, while Meehanhas been affected by a hamstring injury. Left-corner-back Michael Comer and centre-forward Matthew Clancygot the all-clear to start after training last night.
