Ó Sé ‘taking a break’ from football

PÁIDÍ Ó SÉ has ruled out a return to inter-county management in ‘the foreseeable future.’

“The story was doing the rounds that I was a late runner in the race for the job of managing Roscommon. No official approach was made to me, other than by a few very trusted friends from Roscommon who have Roscommon football at heart,’’ he explained.

“I am not taking up management in the foreseeable future and I wish whoever gets the job - I think it’s John Maughan - the very best.
