Foley’s penalty guides Adare into next round
With three minutes remaining, the Bouncers were three points ahead and on the verge of inflicting Adare’s first defeat in over two years.
However, it all turned sour, first when they gave away a penalty, which Foley converted to level the game, and with practically the last puck Conor Fitzgerald secured a victory that had seemed unlikely.
Adare, meanwhile, are through to the quarter finals, joined by Croom and Doon from their group.

Croom 2-15
Doon 1-9
CROOM needed to win if they were to make it to the last eight-and they duly obliged, with some ease.
Their opponents, already through, were given a taste of what was ahead when Michael Cahill found the net inside 60 seconds.
Tom Carmody and Peter Lawlor (2) saw them 1-3 in front, before Dave Stapleton got a rather limp Doon off the mark.
It was all over by the half way stage, with all action Croom in command 1-11 to 0-5.
The second half was a tedious affair, with Doon unable to offer resistance.
Carmody struck a second goal in 41 minutes, to leave it 2-12 to 0-8 and it was time to go home.
Michael McKenna had a late consolation goal for the east Limerick side.
