Yet, he was reluctant to talk yesterday about his personal odyssey, about 'surviving' the 1995 All-Ireland final defeat by Dublin, about conquering a career-threatening injury 12 months ago.

Lawn, aged 33, who was introduced in the 71st minute of the 2003 final, is still haunted by memories of the decider ten years ago in which Dublin beat Tyrone.
