Nine minutes into the second-half, against a Toomevara side that looked completely at odds with itself, Mount Sion, with McGrath hurling supremely, had taken what should have been a decisive seven-point lead.

But for the final 25 minutes of what became an increasingly-absorbing battle, Toomevara finally began to find their form, and Mount Sion were slowly but surely squeezed out of the frame.
