Aussies won’t hold back, vows Sheedy

KEVIN SHEEDY has vowed that there will be no let up in the intensity that helped Australia to a 36-point belting of Ireland in the first international rules test last Friday night.

And he ensured his young charges’ minds stay sharp for the second match by dangling a trip to Ireland next year in front of them.

The veteran coach said that the win in Perth, which as good as clinched the Cormac McAnallen Trophy for Australia, was no reason to shut up shop on Friday night at Telstra Dome and retreat into defensive mode.
